Q. Do Bar in a Flash cards work with all bar review courses?
Yes. Bar in a Flash cards cover the same law as that covered in all the major general bar review courses. Bar in a Flash flashcards are intended to be a supplement to a general bar review course.
Q. What is the difference between the printed and online version of the flashcards?
The printed version flashcards are 3 x 5 inches and are printed on heavy card stock - just like those you would use to write out your own flashcards. The online version of the flashcards are available online via your personal computer. A demo of the online version of the flashcards is available here. You must have an active connection to the internet to access the online version of the flashcards.
Q. Can I order the online (or print) version of the flashcards and later upgrade to a bundled version of the flashcards?
Yes. If you purchase either the print or online version of the flashcards, you can later upgrade to the bundled version of the subject(s) or package that you originally ordered. Simply login to your account and select the “Upgrade Your Order to a Package” option. Alternatively, you can contact Customer Service and make your request directly.
Q. Can I buy an individual subject now & buy a package later?
If you purchase an individual subject (or subjects) and later decide you want your state’s package, you can later upsize to a package by logging into your account and selecting the “Upsize Your Order to a Package” option. Alternatively, you can contact Customer Service and make your request directly. The purchase price of the individual subjects will be deducted from the package price, provided the previously ordered individual subjects would have been included in the package to which the credit is being applied. Credit will be applied for individual subjects purchased within 120 days of placing a package order.
You may access your online flashcards for 180 days after the date you purchased the online product. If you purchase the online product more than 180 days before your scheduled bar exam, or you are unsuccessful on your bar exam, simply contact us and we will extend your access period. Please refer to the End User Agreement for more information.
Q. How long does it take to obtain access to the online version of the flashcards after placing an order?
It typically takes a few minutes after you place an order to obtain access to the online version of the flashcards. After you place your order, you will be taken to your account page. From there you will be able to access your online flashcards immediately.
Q. What's the difference between the MBE and state packages?
The MBE Package covers the 6 subjects tested on the Multistate Bar Examination. The subjects tested on the MBE are Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law & Procedure, Federal Evidence, Real Property, and Torts. Most states also test the MBE subjects on the essay portion of the exam. Therefore, all the information provided in the MBE package is included in the state packages except Washington and Lousiana, which don't test the MBE.
You can place an order a number of ways. To place an order through our website, visit the page of the product you are interested in and click "Order". To place an order via telephone, call customer service at (888) 957-2423 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Pacific time) Monday to Friday. You can fax or mail your order by downloading the Order Form and faxing/mailing to the number/address on the form.
Yes, we accept personal checks and money orders. Please note, however, that due to check processing times, orders generally ship 5 - 7 business days after receipt of the order.
Orders are generally processed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of the order (excluding Sundays). All orders ship via US Postal Service Priority Mail to arrive to addresses in the continental United States within 3 days of shipment. However, customers may request expedited next day shipment for an additional shipping fee.
Standard shipping is USPS Priority Air Mail, which generally delivers to addresses within the continental United States within 3 business days. You will have the option to upgrade to expedited shipping on the order page if you would prefer expedited delivery.
For print products, we accept orders mailed back to us and postmarked within 10 days of the customer's receipt of delivery. We offer a 100% refund of all unopened subjects, and a 75% refund of all opened subjects. The refund of packages in which some subjects have been opened will be pro-rated depending upon the number of subjects that have been opened within the package (each subject is wrapped individually). Please note that the shipping fees are not refundable, and shipping charges for returning items are borne by the customer. For online products, orders may be cancelled within 4 days of the purchase date for a full refund. However, online products purchased within the 10 days prior to the first day of the immediately following bar examination for which the customer will sit are not refundable.
